Thirty, Sixty, Hundredfold: Living from Heaven’s Supply

Jesus gave a really good parable in Mark 4.  It was the parable of the seed and the sower.  In Mark 4:13 He says, “If you can’t understand the meaning of this parable, how will you understand all the other parables?” (NLT).  The seed is the word, and the soil is us! What kind of soil are you?  The enemy isn’t quite as concerned with you, as he is about the word “over” you (and in you).  He comes to snatch the word.  

After the Father spoke from heaven that Jesus was His beloved Son, and in Him He is well pleased, it was that word the devil went after.  He tried to get Jesus to prove what the Father said about Him was true.  A life of striving and proving will keep a child of God in a perpetual cycle of sin and rebellion. We are called to be like Christ, and Jesus didn’t prove the Fathers word over Him, He just rested in it, and received it. 

A thirty fold return is good, a sixty fold return is better, but a hundred fold return is best!!  As a believer we can live on earth from earth's supply and we will get a thirty fold return.  That’s not bad (or sinful) but it’s just incomplete. We will have to rely on the earth and its resources to get things done, or our best efforts.  We can also as a believer live on earth from Heaven's supply.  This is a better option, but still incomplete.  We will live a life portraying “we are down here” and God is up there.  Which is true in the natural; I understand that.  But it causes us to feel “separated.”  There is actually a third way.  

We can live in Heaven, from Heaven's supply, and manifest it on the earth.  The Bible says we are already seated in heavenly places right now with Christ.  Meaning as sure as you are seated in your chair (or on your couch), you are seated in the heavenly realms too.  Remember, Jesus did not die to just make us close to Him, He died to make us One with Him (1 Cor 6:17). 

Today, I want to encourage you precious believer, change the way you think (repent), and realize that you are seated in Heaven right now with Christ.  His blood is speaking a better word over you, or any problem you may be facing today.  Let's get Heaven's perspective since we are seated there, so we can manifest it on the earth and walk in a hundred fold return!
